Rescue helicopter

It was in 1939 that humans were able to launch the first rescue helicopter over the skies. Perhaps at that time, humans did not think that these helicopters would be so advanced that today, 80 years later, they can be used to transport patients who are not in good condition. This development is such that drone rescue helicopters are now used in areas where it is not possible to cross.

Helicopters can be considered as the best airplanes that are currently helping people. The advantage of this type of helicopter is that even if the conditions are such that none of the runways can fly, an air ambulance can be the best option for transporting patients. Currently, the state of these helicopters is such that thousands of them are operating in the skies.

Different types of rescue helicopters:

Different types of helicopters are selected based on a series of factors, such as the number of patients transferred and the distance they have to travel. In areas where there is no airport, and the airport can’t be used, rescue helicopters are helpful.

First Air assistance:

The first air assistance was provided during the Korean War in 1950. During that war, Bell 47 helicopters were built. They could transport more than 20,000 troops to existing hospitals. Of course, at that time, they could not provide medical services for the sick and injured in this way because the patients were in a part of the helicopter called the basket, and this made the work of medical services difficult. But as soon as they could take them to a place away from war and bloodshed, it was enough.

Today’s helicopters are so advanced, and the cabin is very modern and well-equipped for patients. Some of the existing models can transfer ten patients simultaneously. Also, some medical facilities and services can be used along the way for the patients, and their condition can be slightly improved until they reach the hospital.

Air service in Iran by rescue helicopter:

Iran is one of the countries that have been able to be on par with other countries in medicine and relief. Rescue helicopters use the latest and most advanced equipment to transport patients. They can even provide relief in difficult to cross areas and areas that do not have an airport runway. It’s better to know that these helicopters can’t travel very long distances with all these descriptions.
